Vattenkanna is ’watering can'. Vatten is ’water’ of course, with relatives in other Indoeuropean languages such as Greek hydor, Latin unda – ’wave’ and Russian voda (with diminutive vodka).

Kanna and can is more difficult; it is a common Germanic word, but that is as far as I got.
